Ways Your School Counselor Can Help You
Our Mission is to provide students with the social and emotional skills they need to be successful academically and in their future career. We do this in partnership with teachers, staff, and families.
Monthly classroom lessons on such topics as Communication, Careers, Bullying, Kindness, and more.
Small groups- Counselors work with small groups of students practicing skills like social skills, leadership, building healthy relationships, anxiety, self-esteem, self-regulation, etc.
Individual Counseling - Counselors work individually with students using short-term, solution-focused individual counseling. For students who benefit from long-term counseling, referrals can be made to community resources.
If you think that your student would benefit from one of these options, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Gifted Program Contact
School counselors serve as the Gifted Program contact at the school. Please contact them with any questions or concerns.
Family Life Education
School counselors teach the Family Life Education curriculum to students in Grades K-3. Counselors and classroom teachers will collaboratively teach the curriculum to students in Grades 4 and 5.
