Welcome to the Mt. Vernon Makerspace!
At Mt. Vernon Elementary, we are committed to providing experiences for our students that incorporate the 5 C's in our effort to ensure that all students are ready for the future into which they will grow. We believe in that providing our students with many opportunities to create, collaborate, communicate, use good citizenship skills, and use critical thinking - all while using engineering skills, coding, robotics, film production, artistic skills, and more - will enable them to move forth with self-confidence and caring. This website is our effort to share our journey and to share resources with anyone else who hopes to take their own journey into the world of the Makerspace.
