The School Board has approved adjusting Tuesday, April 21, to a student holiday/staff workday due to the special election.

We've got spirit, yes we do... we've got spirit, how about YOU! Every Friday at Mount Vernon Elementary is SPIRT DAY! Students and staff show their Mustang pride by wearing their favorite MVE gear or our school colors (blue, black, gray, and white). Our hallways come alive with school spirit and brings our school together. It is one of our favorite traditions!

Our amazing MVE PTA is hosting a movie night in the gym! DOG MAN will play on the big screen at 6:00pm on January 15th. Be sure to bring your own chair, but don't worry- popcorn is provided! We hope you can make
